FARM fresh at home
Farm Shares go on sale January 1st to May 1st. Shares are sold in increments of $100. When you are purchasing a farm share you essentially are pre-buying product at a discount. Each Farm Share will get you $115 in product. You can use this towards anything: meat, veggies or other products. Farm Shares do not expire.
You can mail applications directly to us at the farm, but we'd love to meet you in person and encourage you to drop them off so we can!
Below you will find the Summer 2018 CSA's we offer. CSA's or Community Supported Agriculture are essentially a subscription to farm fresh goodness! You will have the choice of a meat CSA, vegetable CSA or a combination of both. Our Summer CSA's begin June 15th and run for 16 weeks (through September). Each week you will have the opportunity to try different cuts of meat and new vegetables that we pick out for you. Fruits are included in veggie shares.
Here at Olde Haven Farm we have many partnership opportunities available. That is what CSA's and Farm Shares really are...you are partnering with us and cheering us on! We appreciate your support and hope you love what we are able to give you in return.
All Summer CSA's must be paid in full by May 1st for the year of the CSA.
A $50 non-refundable deposit holds your spot.
We will accept weekly or monthly payments as needed until payment is made in full, as long as full payment is received by May 1st.
Payments can be made in person or mailed to Olde Haven Farm, 159 Togus Rd., Chelsea, ME 04330.
We have limited space available for our work share program. Its a great way to connect with the farmers and your food. Experience the lifecycle on the farm and be a part of some very rewarding work. For each hour worked, you earn $8.50 in credit for anything harvested from or sold at the farm. Typical work would include weeding, transplanting, building trellises or raised beds, mucking, cleaning and organizing, feeding, watering, and a variety of other jobs. Make sure to let us know if you have a special skill set we might use.
